TCA Victorian Club Coach of the Year 2014

Congratulations AJ Muscillo on winning the 2014 TCA Victorian Club Coach of the Year.

This is great recognition for the work AJ does with Hot Shots, Junior Tennis, Adult Cardio Tennis, High Performance Tennis Training for Elite Juniors and his involvement at local Primary Schools, in addition to his work as Eildon Park Tennis Club Coach.

AJ was presented with this coveted award at a ceremony held at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on 23rd November.

Court Resurfacing :

In early January 2016, Eildon Park Tennis Club completed the resurfacing of the Galvin-Beveridge courts (court numbers 1, 2 & 3) with modern blue-coloured artificial grass. This work was made possible by a grant from the State Government’s Local Facilities for Local Clubs program along with substantial contributions by Club Members and Tennis Australia. The courts were officially opened on Friday 20th May 2016, by The Honourable Kim Wells, MP (Member for Rowville), Knox City Council Mayor Councillor Tony Holland, Knox City Council Taylor Ward Councillor Darren Pearce and EPTC President Michael Tomlinson.

In addition to the resurfacing, there were adjustments made to the fences surrounding these courts to allow for optimal viewing. These improved courts are just another example of Eildon Park Tennis Club striving to ensure our club facilities are in the best condition for our members, visitors and guests.
